Portrait Photography is the most difficult -- and rewarding -- of all the photographies. This is because to get it right, you not only have to reproduce the likeness of a person, but also capture the personality and mood of the subject.
There are two basic kinds of portraits. The traditional kind is a close up of the face or face and torso of the subject...very structured and posed. The second kind is "candid" portrait, which is much more relaxed and carefree.
We use backgrounds and settings, as well as off premise photo shoot areas, to reflect the image you want. We also encourage our clients to bring items with them the reflect their unique personalities and interests so we can give them the perfect portrait they are looking for -- candid, formal or both.
